Ipe Lumber (12-1/8" x 3-1/8" x 7/8")

INCLUDES 1 WOOD BLANK (several blanks are shown to indicate the range of color/grain to expect). Ipe wood, Tabebuia avellanedae is also called Pau D'arco, Brazilian Ironwood, and Iron Bark. It is a lustrous brown color that ages to dark brown with a greenish tinge. The appearance is similar to Greenheart from Suriname, but the grain is finer and denser. Averaging 70 pounds per square foot, this is a very durable hardwood that takes a smooth, high polish. This wood is kiln dried and has been surfaced on two sides. A slight edge check or planer skip may be present. Size may vary +/- 1/8".
