It is overall a beautiful piece of wood, very easy to work with, very well dried and kept.

My overall experience has been fine. In the past I have worked with "orange heart" and "yellow heart"; however, I have never seen a wood color as "vibrant" as the yellow of this Osage Orange. I was surprised, given I had expected it to be orange. Ahh, the endless variety of nature!
