Extra Fancy Snakewood Micro Lumber

This beautiful Snakewood was cut from aged logs. It has been equilibrium dried, surfaced on two sides or more, and is ready to use. It is ideal for guitar and ukulele bridge blanks, fingerboards, and other high end woodworking projects. This is some of the best Snakewood available in the world. An occasional surface or end check may be present. Some pieces may be shellac sealed. This piece has a 3" check on the numbered end of the back face, a 2" ring shake on the left edge relative to the numbers, and a 1" check on this same end. On the opposite end of the numbers, there are end checks and splits of 1" long. If cut to remove the checks, there would be 14" of wood without checks. It may also be repairable with CA glue for use as a guitar or especially a ukulele fingerboard.
