Silver Wattle Pen Blank - 3/4"

INCLUDES 1 WOOD BLANK (several blanks are shown to indicate the range of color/grain to expect). Silver Wattle, Acacia dealbata, is an Acacia from Eastern Australia that shares many of the same characteristics as Hawaiian Koa and Tasmanian Blackwood. The wood has a medium density, and is lighter in color than some of the other slower growing Acacia trees. Colors range from light browns to subtle pinks. Silver Wattle wood is easy to work with hand and power tools and takes a good finish. Enjoy making a pen out of this hard to find wood! Size may vary +/- 1/8". Skill level: Beginner.
