Curly Redwood Bowl Blank

This redwood was planted in the early 1900's near the capital of Oregon. It is considered freshly cut and contained full moisture in February of 2025, but dries quickly and with ease. Faces have been surfaced before being completely wax sealed. This wood has fantastic color and fiddleback! It cuts easily and turns well. Occasional end checks may be present. Enjoy working this Pacific Northwest gem. This piece has splits. Please see pictures for details.
