Kingwood Live Edge Lumber

This is probably the last batch of Kingwood that we will ever have available. Kingwood, the wood of kings, is a true Rosewood. It has rich & regal purple/black color with interesting golden and white sapwood contrast. It is dense (.98 to 1.2 specific gravity) and takes an incredibly high natural polish. This lumber has been carefully kiln dried and surfaced on two sides. There may be a rustic live edge with machete cuts and an occasional check may also be present. It is normal for live edge boards to have checks in the sapwood that may slightly penetrate the heartwood. Overall it is very clean material. Some pieces may contain pin holes. Boards over 36" may have a slight 1/16" to 1/8" bow. This ships to the USA only. This piece has edge splits. Please see pictures for details.
