The wood is dense and the burl has beautiful grain patterns, figure and eyes. Checks, inclusions, voids, and live edges may be present and are not considered defects. This rare hardwood burl is ideal for small, fine woodworking articles such as knives, pens, jewelry boxes, wood bowls, and more. This has been air dried for 2 years and may contain residual moisture.
