Collection: Silver Wattle

Silver Wattle, Acacia dealbata, is an Acacia from Eastern Australia that shares many of the same characteristics as Hawaiian Koa and Tasmanian Blackwood. This fast growing hardwood tree reaches heights up to 100 ft. with diameters of 2-3 ft. (with some attaining 4 ft. in diameter). The wood has a medium density, and is lighter in color than some of the other slower growing Acacia trees. Colors range from light browns to subtle pinks. Silver Wattle wood is easy to work with hand and power tools and takes a good finish.
