Yellow Box Burl is a unique and interesting Australian exotic wood with a lot of interesting figure & burl! The heartwood ranges from light pink to golden brown with pale gray sapwood that is sharply demarcated from the heartwood. This is a great wood for turned objects, knife and gun grips, and small specialty items. Yellow Box Burl is fine grained and able to take a high natural polish.
