Collection: Monterey Cypress

Monterey Cypress, Hesperocyparis macrocarpa, is native to the Monterey region of the California coast. The tree is medium to large, growing to heights of 80 ft. tall with a medium to large canopy. The world's largest Monterey Cypress is on the Southern Coast of Oregon right off Highway 101. Monterey Cypress wood is golden in color with a hint of red. It is durable, rot resistant, easy to work, and has a smooth finish when sanded. Knots produce areas of fiddleback that add a unique look to woodworking projects.
