Big Leaf Maple, Acer macrophylum, has excellent color variations that range from white to coral pink & light brown. No two burl slices are the same. This is another reason that Maple is such a fun wood for those who seek a creative flare in their projects. These burls are exceptional and are ideal for any use from clocks, pictures, natural hangings, to taxidermy mounts.
We can ship this material to the USA only due to the bark edges. All slices are kiln dried and ready for use. There are natural bark edges with all pieces. Additionally, bark incursions, splits, and checks are present on the faces of all pieces. Some are larger than others depending on the piece. Please factor them in as a unique character quality.
