Collection: Chinese Bean Tree

Chinese Bean Tree is an excellent hardwood species for furniture, carving, turning, and many other woodworking uses. It is similar in appearance to Ash until it is surfaced and it has lovely contrast between the early and late growth rings. The wood is lighter in density than Ash or Oak but works very well. It is extremely stable and resists rot. The surfaced wood is smooth to the touch and smells slightly like Teak.
