Rustic Brazilian Blackheart Turning Blank

This Brazilian Blackheart wood has a unique and very beautiful green/gray/brown color with a hint of red in some. This material is completely wax sealed. It has been cut for two and a half years as of September 2022 and does contain residual moisture, but has lost 30% to 50% of its original moisture. This rustic grade contains deep/extensive checks and/or splits. This blank can be stabilized with epoxy resin. Simply rough turn the blank and allow to dry, seal defects with epoxy resin, and turn your one-of-a-kind blank. Alternatively, voids can be left natural, allowing for a unique and creative appearance. The patterns possible in this species are absolutely one-of-a-kind!
